Identity verification
Helpers must complete identity verification before they can participate in the marketplace.
Trust cannot be a vague brand promise on a bureaucracy marketplace. People need to know who they are meeting and why the platform thinks the match is safe and useful.
Helpers must complete identity verification before they can participate in the marketplace.
Matching is not just about availability. It is about whether the helper is suitable for the specific task and language need.
Helpers need a practical understanding of role boundaries, punctuality, communication, and platform standards.
Creating an account only starts an application. It does not make someone a bookable helper.
1. Application
Applicants submit their name, phone, city, languages, and the services they can help with, and accept the current policies and the Helper Agreement.
2. Identity verification
Applicants verify their identity through Stripe Identity: a government-issued photo ID plus a matching selfie with a liveness check.
3. Manual profile review
SettlyGo manually reviews every application before granting booking access. Applications stay pending, and cannot claim bookings, until they are approved.
4. Ongoing accountability
Customers rate helpers after completed bookings. Helpers who violate platform standards or receive credible complaints can be suspended or excluded from matching.
When you book help, you want to know who you are meeting and what standards they have already met.
This page explains the checks behind the match and what they mean for you on the day.
If you have a complaint about a completed booking or a helper's conduct, contact SettlyGo support; credible complaints are reviewed and can lead to suspension.
These are the most useful next steps for this task, whether you want a guide, pricing details, or help booking.
